Projects

I haven't been painting lately, but that's because I have been doing other projects. One of those is scanning and restoring old family photos, and I just thought I'd share this picture of my great grandmother. This was taken in the late 1800s.  The original is faded and has a horrible tear in the middle, but with a little work in PhotoShop it looks almost as good as new. I am now down to two choices for a host for my new website:  Lunarpages.com or Westhost.com.  Both are under $10/month, and I am just going back and forth between the two.  I am a newbie at all of this, so I've been on a long learning curve.  One of my main reasons for doing

Finally, I'm back around these parts!  I was away for a bit because I had out of town company and have been occupied with a bunch of mundane things like carpet cleaners and household stuff.  So, I apologize for the delay in answering messages and thanking folks for their interest in my artwork.  :thanks: Among the mundane things was dealing with a suspected piece of malware on my computer. :ohnoes:!  Although I'm a real control freak about what and who gets on this machine, :paranoid: I know that sometimes something can slip through.  Apparently it did, and I squashed the little miscreant with no harm done.  Naturally, I was highly pissed of
